"Fluent APIs are fun to use but hard to write. Fluent API Generator makes writing Fluent APIs easy for a range of object-oriented languages, including C#, Java and TypeScript.
I had been toying with the idea of writing something to help build Fluent APIs for a while. I had also heard many good things about Svelte / SvelteKit and I wanted to learn more, by creating something really substantial that would be useful for other developers.
It has been a lot of fun. I have found Svelte to be very intuitive to work with and I'm glad I did this. Fluent API Generator is a client-side app, with no server-side code execution. The SvelteKit ecosystem makes it pretty straightforward to write code in this way, while retaining server-side capabilities in a very coherent manner. I would have no hesitation using SvelteKit for running server-side code in the future, if I find myself working on such a project.
I thought that, to help users and boost Google SEO, I would also write some documentation pages on how Fluent APIs are put together, and why one might want to use them. This ballooned into something a bit bigger than I'd originally intended; I wanted to explain some fundamental concepts clearly and found the words flowed. The documentation pages are statically generated from Svelte and then rendered as simple HTML. I am hoping this site will be useful for developers everywhere!"
